Spiritual Entrepreneurs are not fully comfortable striving for success just for the sake of being successful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this blog, I write about some of the ways you can bring more of your spiritual self to your work and towards your worldly success. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For example: By being mindful of the forces of creation, these spiritual laws will help us to experience success more deeply and completely. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I facilitated a workshop on this book and these laws in December. And honestly, it was hard work. They aren't the easiest to understand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But I will share my favourite here. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Law of Least Effort... Can you Blame me?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was so burnt out over the Holidays that I was really questioning myself. Can I keep this up? Do I want to keep this up? When can I retire?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I felt that my work was not sustainable. And that kind of scared me. What would I do if I couldn't work? Try for the lottery? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But while talking to my friend and colleague @reneewalkerwellness, I realized I was doing something I learned about back when I was counselling recovering addicts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was white knuckling. White knuckling is the colour your knuckles turn when you're hanging on for dear life...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, it's a feeling that I am completely responsible for trying to be successful. It's not about working hard, it's about trying to control everything. That is exhausting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So...this year...will work on letting go and languishing in the Law of Least Effort. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨ The Spiritual Law of Giving seems straightforw

✨ The Spiritual Law of Giving seems straightforward enough. Yet I see a couple of curious twists here. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ I have noticed with clients and with people in general, including me, how we are pretty good at giving, but not so good at receiving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I can’t say I know for certain the cause of people not being able to receive. But I can guess that it’s about how worthy we feel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Working on self worth is one of the most popular subjects in Life Coaching for personal growth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we don’t feel deserving, we don’t receive whether it’s love, compliments, or money. Our ability to receive GOOD of any kind is limited.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ And the second twist with this Law of Giving is Chopra's take on what to do when you crave material affluence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It looks like he’s going to say “give material affluence to others,” but instead he writes that through helping others we become prosperous. That is how the Law of Giving works. Our willingness to help others with affluence comes back to us as material affluence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have you had that experience? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I think I have. My whole business model is based on helping others. It may not be directly connected to their material affluence, but sometimes it’s related. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mostly it’s about helping them grow themselves to the point where they are able to receive good in general, including material affluence. Like I said above. All personal growth coaching gets to one’s self worth at some point. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1️⃣ Take inventory. Sit with pen and paper and list, what’s working and what isn’t working. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2️⃣ Brainstorm: What do I need? If you’ve been lost in everyone else’s needs, you may not be able to answer that easily. So keep asking.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

3️⃣ Ponder: What do I really want? Can you dream a little? Sometimes we are unable to really allow ourselves to fantasize about our wants. No one will hold you to it. Just ponder.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣ What makes you come alive? List the activities and experiences and people that simply light you up.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Plan for ways to bring more of what lights you up. Don’t even worry about changing the stuff that isn’t working at the moment. Just go right toward the light. Sometimes, that makes the darkness disappear all on its own. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
